Troy Tulowitizki spent the first 23 years of his life relentlessly pursuing a dream. He brooded over every failed at-bat, ached over every error. Every practice seemed worth it when he reached the major leagues in 2007, and promptly led the Rockies to the World Series. Then, with a single off-balance throw on April 29, 2008, in San Francisco, it was all gone.
